Fun Family Activities Near Merrijig

1.     High Country Maze, Goughs Bay

The whole family will love this maze and finding all the gnomes.  It’s a great way to use up some energy and then there’s a great café for coffees and treats afterwards.

2.     Botanic Gardens Playground, Mansfield

This playground has been recently upgraded and is the kids’ favourite activity in Mansfield.  The giant swing, inbuilt trampolines, ropes are all great but it’s the flying fox, which keeps the kids coming back time after time.

3.     Mini Golf, Mansfield

This mini golf is right in the middle of town, and each hole is themed with a local area or attraction.   Treat to yourself to some delicious ice cream and doughnuts after the game.

4.     Mansfield Sweet Shop, Mansfield

If you’re walking along the main st in Mansfield with children, you’ll be lucky to be able to get past this shop.  It offers a huge range of lollies, sweets and chocolates with some cheap treats and more high end gift options.

5.     Mansfield Zoo, Mansfield

This small zoo hosts a large collection of exotic and native animals across its 30 acres of parklands.  A great opportunity to stretch the legs and even hand feed some of the animals.  

6.     ‘The Mac’ Mansfield Armchair Cinema, Mansfield

This cute little cinema has standard seating, Gold Class and bean bags to choose from.
